How do you know if this work is for *you*?

Your day-to-day is increasingly busy, and you want to maximize the impact of your self-care routines
You’ve tried a number of other wellness practices, but still feel like there are blockages in your road to healing
You struggle with developmental and behavioral challenges (autism, dyslexia, ADHD/ADD, social anxiety, panic attacks, etc.)

Does this really work?
Many have been helped by this work, myself included. As with most things in life, a big factor in the process is how you show up to the work. Are you open? Are you skeptical? Maybe both? Doubt/skepticism for work like this is common and understandable, but there needs to be an openness that you approach this work with. A willingness and a desire for relief and goodness to come from this time, as well as a willingness to let go of things that are no longer serving you in beneficial ways.
How many sessions will it take for me to see results from our time together?
Some experience relief or change with one session, others may require more. It really depends on the person and how their body responds to the work as well as how much emotional energy is trapped and in need of release. But whether you feel different at first or not, lightening the load of stress and negative emotions on your body (energetic or physical) is always a beneficial experience!
How vulnerable and personal will I need to be with you during our session?
While you will need to keep an open heart and open posture during sessions, this isn’t talk therapy, so most information can be kept private if that’s what you wish to do. I am able to test for issues/imbalances that we need to address without needing to hear a lot of background or detail about them. This work is very gentle and kind in that it allows you to be open or as private with most extra information as you would like.
Are there any side effects to this work?
Every body is different and everybody processes this work in different ways. Many people don’t notice any feelings or effects from this work, while others notice physical sensations — the ability to take a deeper breath, the sense of release/lightness, warm/cold sensations, detoxifying effects (headaches, slight body aches, moodiness, etc) are among some. The most common effect that I hear from clients is that they are often tired after their session, while some feel energized and ready to take on the world!
Do the emotions that we release in a session have the ability to return and become trapped again?
No. There may be other instances of emotions by that same name trapped in your energetic body, but, once released, that particular trapped emotion is gone for good!
How can I prepare for my session and how can I care for myself post session?
HYDRATE. Drink plenty of water leading up to the session and have a glass of water to drink throughout our time together (if we are meeting in person or in real time and not over email). Show up with openness and curiosity, ready to let go of what you’ve been holding onto that no longer serves you. Try to schedule at a time when you aren’t required to immediately dive right back into busy life activities so that you give your body and mind a chance to rest and find its way to a more balanced state after releasing imbalances and emotions. Be kind and patient with yourself for the days following your session while you find balance and realignment within your body and emotions.
